Using this website

About this website

Written by healthcare professionals, this website is packed with useful information to take you all the way from the early stages of pregnancy to your baby’s first birthday. We’ve split the site into four sections. These cover pregnancy, giving birth, early days at home with your baby and your baby’s development over her first year.

Throughout the website we’ve referred to your baby as ‘she’. We felt it made it easier reading than saying ‘he or she’ throughout. So, whether you have a ‘he or she’ – we hope you enjoy this website, your pregnancy and the newest member of your family when ‘he or she’ arrives.
